300 pounds lighter and ive got an fbm (mother fuckers!) in er........ orange.

its brakeless and has a backend of 13.25 just a number to some? but 13.25" is the shortest backend on a frame ive ever seen, everyones been manualing it and flipping straight off the back.

did a pick up barspin was was surprised to find i caught it and still had the front wheel in the air, try again and barspin, catch, manual. nice.

Wooh sun arrives in Manchester
Rode Plattfields skatepark today, 3 dry days and some sun and most of the puddles had finally dried up. Good drainage boys.

Good session, most of the lines had opened up and it was quiet enough to do them. Circuits of the park were done with the consecutive right-hand hip line around the mini being rinsed. The second hip is a f-king treat with nice easy landing - was throwing some 'right way' table attempts and actually felt the bike angle over slightly, rather than just doing turn bar tucks. Tried an opposite 270.....f-k opposite spins! Looked more like the dirtiest 180 flyout.

Quite chuffed to pull a few chebaccas with relative ease. Cased a footjam on the small quarter, tho evidently better than going to disaster and dabbing.

All in all a good sesh, and staring at hotties in the surrounding park is a welcome distraction. Nick, get qp hips dialled so u can beef some tables over 'the line'. Summer is upon us!!

How good does this spot look??

We spent a good hour the night before looking for this place in the dark, it was in a real sketchy area that the police warned us about, around every corner were empty bags and rucksacks taken from tourists. To say I was paranoid about the hour tape of footage filmed that day being take would be an understatment. We called it a day and a few of us went back the next day with Leon to find it.

Perfect quarter, two small flatbanks and metal wallride - session on.

This spot was on Fit Barcelona (I've not seen the video) and there's this caretaker that comes out when one of the metal sheets falls off, he just chucks it over the wall and leaves. This same caretaker came out and we eventually understood him saying if a panel falls off chuck it inside and he'll fix it later. How good is that?!
The wall was hella close to the quarter so this particular wallride by moi turned out to be a nose manual up to wallride out. Leon snapped the pic, cheers buddy.

Kids: when faced with the option of cundering 'on' a toilet or 'in' a toilet, ALWAYS choose the latter option.

Not pissed. Antibiotics get you wasted real quick, fact. This was also taken after the question of "if you chuck up can you eat more?" had been tested. 3 bmxers, me, Rob and Pro had a fingers in throat session in the toilets, it seemed to just make me more drunk...Turns out Paul had emptied half a bottle of tobasco sauce on all my food when I was away, ate it all in innocence.



Probably didn't need to stack a feeble on my arm...still it looks good on the video and everyones gotta have a stack. Damn those ledges are harder than they look in Voices.

Last day of barcelona - boooooooooo!

Good job today didnt dissapoint then. Started off finding the spot we looked for the previous day for an hour and half in the dark in the GHETTO. We had talked to police ealier and they said "donn go tha way, no police ther, yah" behind bin were stacks of emptied bags and rucksacks snatched off people. at one point someone asked will he he could "steal your bike please".

so yeah found that spot today and my sweet lord it was worth it, it wasnt street it was the most perfect street 1/4 wallride ever. my arm was alright so i got some nick wallrides on it, ended up doing one which was pretty high but had dropped in feeling strangle on the pedal - land and the pedal body falls off. no actual sealed bearing unit left, blown up.

went to massive tranny walls and tom tried something i would bet 20euros on that no one has done before.

next followed a swift ambulance trip to spanish equvilant of a+e and 6 head stitches for tom plus 4 dislocated toes and a 4 hour wait for me not knowing anything about waht was happening in someroom with Maid in manhattan in spanish on tv. shitter.

In other news, I rode to Sainsbury's today and on the way back some dickhead white van driver was parked against the curb in the cycle lane with his left indicator flashing. However as I proceeded past him on the right he pulled away, despite the left indicator still flashing - causing me to dodge to the right. As he braked and waved me past I kindly informed him that next time he should "Indicate you prick!!".

The white van eventually caught up with me and went to overtake. It emerged that the drivers were 2 skinhead scally wankers and before overtaking, one of them took the courtesy to let me know that "NEXT TIME I'LL MOW YOU DOWN. I'LL F-KING KILL YOU. YOU SPEAK TO MY FRIEND LIKE THAT AGAIN AND I'LL F-KING MURDER YOU!!". All this for a violation of the highway code on his part...

Welcome back to Manchester!

Last day of stunting at the 'boro

Back in Manchester now. Managed to get in a last day of riding at home. Myself and the Ben(der) rode the park most of the afternoon and then a quick blast at the trails.

Ben drove in the Pimpo. Was a very weird experience to get a lift to go riding for a change. The bikes fit in the back fine, so there's no. 1 priority sorted. BOTHERED about the intricate specification of the Punto. Its a car, Ben can drive it = good.

Riding wise Ben displayed consistent skeelz and clicked the odd turndown over the volcano, yerr boi! The picture won't do them justice as we both struggled with the delay on my relic digi camera. No doubt he has some comments about the knees, degree of bar turnage etc anyway.

Northern Barry 360d the spine to driveway landing line to appropriate 'northern' landing (a case). Sick line to stunt tho.

I relearnt wallrides from the quarter and passed throught the whole spectrum of sketchiness on the way - from slapping wall and landing on the deck, to full on come back in diagonal and clip both wheels on coping before finally getting them clean. You love it!

Trails were fun for a bit. Mayo has modified the 2nd nicely, giving more HEIGHT tho after that they get a bit messy. Work and drying out required. Fun nonetheless. Ben boosted the 2nd big style on the longest frame in BMX.

Barca update err 2?

Yeah so not drunk tonight, maybe put out a little more ledgable comment.

Lets start off with - SHIT. WENT. DOWN. TODAY. although not as much as people went down - hard.

yeah so everyones taking it like a cunt today but getting back up and sticking it. rode a couple of good spots today not going to ruin it with a trick list other than saying a few key words. rail. bars. whips. 3s 180s

i was running all over the place like some madman with the camera trying to film about 5 people doing their runs, film one attempt, not pulled then theres someone else doing their run and all of a sudden youve got to be over there.

hopefully the footage will do the riding justice.

one thing i can say about a trick today was paul, massive flatbank take off over fence bars.... jumped it so many times without barsing it so went over to get rob filmed look round and see paul about 6ft in the air over a rail with hands off, wheel at 180, misses the bars and just die on the floor...only attempt and missed the footage, ah well....

not back in boro till 18th may earliest i think, although may come home for a weekend especially if ben n neil back from uni too for a weekend??

As promised, some stuff from Winklebury t'other day. Myself and Mcgregor rode it again today, so some more stuff should be going up soon as well. Anyhow, here's two sequences of Nobin doing textbook threes over the spine, shot by me, P-shopped together by Nobin.

Nicely nosed, taking plenty of speed out of them... basically the opposite of my efforts. Still, no point in having a back brake and a drivetrain if you don't use them haha.

Ride BMX not men.

Myself and the Nobmeister sessioned Winklebury spine mini today, and I managed to 'tick every box' with what I wanted to get done (apart from eat chips from the legendary chippie, it was shut) so it was a really good session.

Nobin didn't waste any time in getting down to business and within a few minutes had got wallrides and walltaps on the sub down. It also took him relatively little time to get the twists on as well, and I shot a good sequence of a particularly textbook three near the end of the session which will go up here later. He managed to rip off a few newly formed scabs by bailing and hanging front wheel but that's by the by.

I managed to pussy pretty much everything untill near the end, but got crooked to over on the spine, wallride on the sub and also had spine 180s suprisingly consistent. I Also chewbacca'd the quarter pipe, and forced a couple of grotty down-turns over the spine. Finally, for the small crowd of adoring children I managed a spine twizzle, which I was pretty happy with. They wanted a flip though, so sorry kids.

So yes, good fun, must be done again before I go back, and media will follow tonight in the form of digital stuff and later in the form of processed film.

I rode it when it was the 4.5ft with massive stick out coping and it was a bit shady, then rode it the next day with coping sorted and it was SO nice. havnt had the chance to ride it like this (arm n all) but rob and ze were flowing all over it.

Rode some sexy concrete transitions today. No coping in sight. Nobin was taking advantage boosting tables at height all over the place. Jason was flowing having gone brakeless for the day. Was like riding in Summer - great fun, riding in t-shirts, and stunting past 7pm.

Finished with a trails session at Southwood. The boys have done well there, things are looking good. Not massive, but enough for Jimmy to nearly 'ave a whip over t'second. My bike got bailed once or twice as usual, but didn't care having clicked a few lookbacks and wrong-way tables on the snakerun at Harrow earlier. Fat Sam threw a bottle of piss about and initiated a mud clot war amongst Boro locals. Ok then.

All in all an awesome day's riding. Only sour note was Nobin taking a slam in the bowls resulting in leg gore...
