Bremen eh? Spots like that I'm f-king there! Euro Roadtrip next Summer anyone?? Obviously the likelihood of this brilliant idea will depend on how financially fisted I am after my Australian adventure but for now, wooh yeah!

Being in this massive country totally makes you realise how small Europe is. We totally don't travel it enough. You could drive from England to Russia in the time it takes to drive Melbourne to Perth (5 days)!!

Victoria the state (county) I live in is the size of the UK, and right now 1/5th of it is a bushfire...FUUUCK!

I was searching on spots in Bremen, Germany and came across some pretty good picture for you guys to see.

http://www.skateclub.de/bremen/schlachthof/ This place is just like the one above but with a spine coming out of the bowl, the locals build alot of ghetto ramps which are pretty cool yet this area gets used for festivals so there is no way of really riding here when thier on cos the area is packed full of lorry's and that.

Skiing rules.

I've been on runs of every colour, (did a black on day 2) over loads of jumps, and even done WHOLE MOUNTAINS off-piste. To quote the club captain; "Ben, you're a fucking natural."

We've had great snow for the whole week (it snowed for 48 hours before we got here) and nothing but blue skies. Couldn't ask for better. Back on sunday, let's do bmxing again.

Word up Fleetscene. Went riding the other day. Spotted a brand new skatepark on the way back from the bird's place the other day so checked it out. Rocked up there on my lonesome as me buddy Sam was working and I assumed being quite a decent park that it would be busy.

Wrong! The place is like a ghost town and it emerges that I was able to spot the park on the train as the ramps are bloody MASSIVE! Super kicky too. Dropping into the 6ft concrete spine-mini for the first time was seriously the scariest thing I've done on a bike. However having travelled 20 mins on the train to get there I rode on despite being alone.

Below are the snaps from solo movies Jonah Lindberg style. I left after an hour in the end as the shakes still hadn't gone away and I was too busy ODing on adrenaline thinking how f-ked I'd be if I stacked. And yes for your information I overshot and hung the 6ft concrete beast on more than 1 occasion, but as it was so big I still got speed from it and carried on. Madness.

So yeh Aussies have big cojones and I totally understand why helmets are compulsory. Riding a good but scary skatepark alone totally makes me miss riding with my Fleet chums as I know I would've aired a few foot higher if ud been here, and maybe pooed my pants a bit less.

Corby's cool it has 3 sections;

A nice 4ft mini good for playing around on with 5 or 5.5ft extension.
Street style course, lots of flatbanks and rails and things
Bmx type section with a step-up, short jump box, bigger box rhythm and bowled area

Oh yeah and a kick ass foam pit.

I decided to christen the session with a box hang up to ball ride, the kind where your stomach is hugging the back of the seat and your testicals are being fondled by your rear tyre. 5 minutes in. Nice.

To ensure I would not be outdone in the stack comp I pulled another gem out the bag. Step up manual to manual launch off a trannied driveway. Hopping from a manual's always a bit weird and it seems I tucked too hard and did a big old nose dive to hop over the bars slide a good distance of the street course (was going fast).
