Alright lads, progress report since the last ditch session.

Tables getting better, realised it's all in the knees

Got wallrides

My solo session got interrupted last night. Saw some riders coming in the distance. Gave the nod, hopped the ditch to say hello. You look familiar, you have dreads...only f-king Will Jackson and Steve Bancroft! Pro session was cut short by rain unfortunately.

Exeter Josh

I went to a preview of the Boarding House DVD a while ago, and this was the standout section from it. It's mostly street and park from Exeter and the Southwest, all completely killed, of course.

Since Nobin provided such a visual treat recently I thought it only fair that there be more eye candy (in the bmx sense...)

Here's a video of the FleetScene riders who were still in this country last summer. I thought we had about equal amounts of footage from everyone, unfortunately this really wasn't the case, so really sorry but its pretty much just me and ben. Apologies!

Click here to watch (downloading the sucka makes it much better quality)

i like bmx, i like summer, i like songs about transvestites

Hoffman Movie?

According to wikipedia, Hoffman's The Ride of my Life is being adapted to become a screenplay. Whatever next?

Drainage ditches, bitches!

Alright guys. Treated myself to some new bars. S&M Small Slam. They are fairly WIDE, especially compared to my old ones if anyone remembers them?! Bike rides so much nicer now and have been loving it at my new spot.

Check the pics, it has so much potential.

It's also the most photographic spot I've seen for a while. But above all it's just fun to ride. Tables are gash; legs all over the place, but it's 10 mins down the train line so fingers crossed we'll see an improvement soon.

One thing I've gotta stop doing is going there just a the sun is setting. Yeh it looks great and everything, but when you want to try a new gap or ride straight at a wall in the hope of getting on it's nice to actually see what you're doing!

Awesome s-t-r-e-e-t video, at first glance i think its the animal boys ch-ch-check it out

videovideovideovideovideovideo 20min long

oh yeah and in other news its a lot of fun to tell leo that nyquist is shit and that martinez is better (seeing as his knowledge is entirely based upon watching a crappy rip of drop the hammer)

nyquist is indeed the man, but leo doesn't know shit.

Last summer while I was in Kent I saw the Seventies - Number 10 DVD, its easily in the top 10 of bmx videos. If anyone sees a copy for sale in a shop or whatever gimmie a shout as I need this video in my life.

If you go to the Roundabout site you can watch Baz and Fenlon's sections on GayTube.
(Number 10 was out waaaay before Lotek mixtape so they are aloud Baz's song, Lotek aren't!)

BMX video piracy

http://www.bmxonline.com/bmx/photos/article/0,15742,1595297,00.html

- Interesting stuff, if you haven't already read it

Personally I think when one of your mates buys the genuine article, then copies it and circulates to select friends this is OK, but when everyone just watches them on Google Video/You Tube you can see why video makers get pissed off.

Having watched Forward the other day, for the first time in about a year, and through surround sound for a first time too (in my new gaff) I can safely say that I'm sold on DVD...and when I have more money I'll be happy to buy the real thing.

Now go ride!

P.S. Drainage ditch 10 mins train from my new place. More fun than most of the skateparks round here. Pictures up soon.

Who's up for a 5-7 days in Germania this summer then? I'm sure Robin n' Jason will be wanting to go back to the same place they went to before, but think about Mellow Park too, you can rent accommodation there. Your bed right next to the skatepark and trails, how good is that? (also got the wallride park a train ride away -if I remember right).

Then again I don't know if Mellow will just be packed full of German kids over the summer.

Thoughts...

(We all need a trip together this summer, FleetScene unite!)

ps. Jason just suggested driving to Germany if he's passed by the summer, in which case blatantly a euro roadtrip
