I went down to the new skatepark in Midsomer Norton during my lunch today to have a look around. Pictures below. The park is pretty strange. There's loads of stuff there, all sorts of weird rollers and rails and driveways. Lots of quite unique-looking stuff, even rails an gaps linking concrete sections over grass. Most of it looks quite skateboard-oriented, and there's nothing massive there (no box or spine, shame) but it should be interesting to ride. Judging by the amount of 3 foot tall hood rats, pre-work sessions could be key. Skate plaza bit.

A few shots from Bristol in the spring, before Robin and I saw The Bronx. Dean Lane is a strange skatepark. The whole thing is downhill and most of the ramps and transitions are pretty unique, apart from the quarter at the bottom which is lovely. There's also a 6 foot midi which has the most disgusting transitions ever. Robin and I couldn't even air it. Check Ridetoglory#2 for footage of Bas Keep getting 10ft out. That's nuts.
