This is a real good video. The guy filming has a Steadicam unit mounted to his camera which allows him to leg it after his mate on a bike and even jump on a board half way through a run without any camera shake. Good filming, good riding.

If a cameraman can keep up on foot, you're clearly not riding fast enough. Gary Young would give them serious problems.
I have no idea how that technology works though.

the camera's attached to a long pole weighted at the end. the idea being that it acts as a big lever being held near the fulcrum (ie hard to move)the hand on that device 'floats' independently to the rest of it, meaning small movements from the operator don't transmit as much to the camera.
